## what this is

One row of bits. Each cell's next state is decided by its three neighbours. 256 rules, a single line of seed, and a world unfolds downward — some die, some make lace, one computes anything. This page is a loom for those rules: a small machine that makes order from a single line.

- rule 30 — chaos, from one dot
- rule 90 — lace: Sierpinski triangles
- rule 110 — universal: can compute anything, given enough time
- rule 184 — traffic: particles that jam and flow
- rule 54 — weaving: stripes that collide and reweave
